Doctors for Nepal works closely with other organisations:
- Nepali medical and nursing colleges that are offering training for community medicine in remote areas – Patan Academy of Health Sciences (PAHS)
- Non-governmental organisations (NGOs) delivering health programmes in rural Nepal that have specialised expertise and a deep understanding of local networks and issues - PHASE Worldwide
DFN has also recently added nursing scholarships with the help of PHASE WORLDWIDE - a charity working in Nepal to empower isolated communities through health, education and livelihood opportunities.DALAI LA BOUTIQUE HOTEL in Kathmandu has welcomed DFN over the past two years, and kindly hosted the Nepalese premiere of our documentary "Namaste, a Himalayan Journey". ODA FOUNDATION works with underserved communities to provide high quality, low cost health care and education in rural Nepal. KARNALI ACADEMY OF HEALTH SCIENCES (KAHS) was set up to carry out the teaching, training and research in various health related subjects for the underprivileged in remote areas of Nepal.
