We are delighted to announce our first nursing scholarships.
Three students have begun their 3-year nursing degree courses in Kathmandu. We have collaborated with PHASE (Practical Help Achieving Self Empowerment) – an NGO that aims to empower isolated communities through health, education and livelihood opportunities. Our nursing students were auxiliary nurse midwives (lower level of health worker) with PHASE, and we are sponsoring their studies to become nurses; they will then return to remote areas to practice for a minimum of 2 years.
- Tuition fees
- If necessary – also hostel fees, food, and book
